Kathleen “Kate” Goggin is a writer, editor, and workshop leader. She has a background as a technical writer and is a former spokesperson for the U.S. State Department and NOAA.

Other credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Communications Consulting from George Mason University, and certifications in technical writing and strategic planning.

Kate is not only an author and editor—she is also a songwriter and innovator. She wrote an original song that reflects her mission to inspire resilience and creativity. She also created BackPack Kids, an app designed to help teachers lead international trips. In addition, she published the newsletter, The Art of International Living, which explored life lessons from living abroad.
